MacEwen acquires Jim Moore Petroleum and Moore Propane

Headquartered in North Bay, Ontario, the Moore family has been operating in the petroleum sector for more than 50 years.

MacEwen Petroleum has announced the acquisition of Jim Moore Petroleum and Moore Propane, headquartered in North Bay, Ontario and serving Muskoka, Sudbury, and Northern Ontario.

The Moore family has been in the petroleum business for over 50 years, serving homes, construction, agricultural, commercial and retail businesses. The local independent company not only operates in fuel supply but also is focused on equipment maintenance, offering the full line of Klondike Lubricants for all oil and lubricant needs.

“We are grateful for the trust that Mike and Bruce Moore have placed in us, and we are especially proud that they have joined MacEwen to lead the business into the future. We know that Bruce and Mike will continue to deliver the customer service that Moore customers have enjoyed for decades,” stated MacEwen in a press release.

Other services of both companies include automatic delivery for home or business, hot water tank/furnace oil tank financing, and mobile tank and skid tank options.
